IPL 2020 FINAL REVIEW AND ALL AWARDS HOLDERS
In the Era of this coronavirus pandemic, IPL 2020 was rescheduled from April to September. But after lots of problems, BCCI succeeded in organized in UAE.
There were 8 teams were fighting for the trophy. In the first half of the tournament was seemed very predictable, where Mumbai Indians, Royal challengers, Delhi capitals, and Kolkata Knight Riders had almost cemented there places for qualifiers. And rest of the teams were struggling to get wins. Including one of the most successful team of IPL history -Chennai Super Kings (CSK). This was the first time when team CSK failed to reach in qualifiers and end up at 7th place in the points table.
On the other hand, Mumbai Indians reached 6th times in the IPL final. Mumbai Indian had already won IPL final four time out of 5 finals they played and now they were facing Delhi Capitals in IPL final 2020. Delhi Capitals were playing their first IPL final.

Delhi Capitals won the toss
In the final of IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals won the toss and elected to bat first. Delhi wanted to make pressure in Mumbai Indians by giving them a big target to chase.
However, Mumbai Indians give them a big setback by taking their 3 three big wickets in power play including Shikar Dhawan who was in a tremendous form. These three wickets made this final one-sided for Mumbai.
But Shreyas Iyer, the Captain of Delhi Capitals refused to give up against these hard situation and built a partnership with attacking batsman Rishabh Pant, which led them to the total of 156/7 in 20 overs. Shreyas Iyer scored 65 runs on 50 balls and Rishabh Pant played an attacking inning of 56 runs on 38 balls.
In second inning of the match, Rohit Sharma captain of Mumbai Indian came out to open along with in form wicket keeper batsman Quinton de kick. They both showed their master class with the bat and scored 45 runs in just 4 overs with the run rate of 11.25, which put Delhi in more trouble.
Then all-rounder Marcus Stoinis took the responsibity on this solders and sent Quinton de kock back to the dressing room, who was playing his shots with ease. Quinton de kock played a small but effective inning of 20 runs on 12 balls. This wicket was not enough for Delhi to lift trophy of IPL first time because Rohit Sharma was still in the middle.
Surya Kumar Yadav joined Rohit Sharma to chase down the target. All was going good for Mumbai. Rohit Sharma was looking in his magical touch and Surya was just supporting Rohit without taking any risk.
But on the 5th ball of the 11th over, due a misunderstanding between the wicked Surya Kumar Yadav got run out. It seemed like Surya Sacrificed his wicket for his captain. This wicket raised the hope for Delhi to win this final as they took the wicket of Surya, who played a significant role to lead Mumbai to the final.
Now before Delhi could make further strategy team Mumbai, Ishan Kishan came to bat. Kishan smashed 33 runs on 19 balls with a outstanding strike rate of 173. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma got out on 68 runs.
But until then, he had set the platform for rest of the batsmen. And Mumbai Indians won the IPL final 5th times since 10 deliveries were left to bowl.

Trent Boult was selected the man of the match for his outstanding bowling performance. He took 3 wickets for Mumbai.

Rajasthan Royals pacer Jofra Archer was awarded 'Most Valuable Player' of IPL 2020. He took most wickets 20 wickets for Rajasthan in IPL 2020. Along with this, he also scored 113 runs with a strike rate of around 180.

Fast bowler Trent Boult justified his reputation of one of the most dangerous fast bowler of world cricket and became instrumental for Mumbai Indians' win the final. Trent Boult took three wickets for 30 runs in four overs of his quota in this match against Delhi. He took two wickets in the power play. Moreover, he took 17 wickets in the power play in this season of IPL. Which was most by any bowlers in IPL 2020. With the help of this performance he was awarded as 'Power Player' of the season.
Super-striker of the season:-
Kieron Pollard the vice captain of Mumbai Indians win Super - striker award for this season. He scored 268 runs with the strike rate of 191.42 in IPL 2020. Along with this, Kieron Pollard also captained Mumbai Indians in the absence of Rohit Sharma.
