India lost 3rd T20 but seized the series by 2-1 against Australia
In the third and last T20 match of the series, Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to at first. Australian team achieved 186 runs after losing 5 wickets in 20 overs.
In the second inning, India had to chase down 187 runs to win this match and whitewash the series as well. Despite the stunning performance from Captain Kohli (85), team Indian could only manage to reach 174 runs after losing 7 wickets and Australia won the match. However, India won the 3-match series by 2-1. The Indian team had won the first two matches of this series.
A stunning performance from Virat Kohli: -
Indian captain Virat Kohli delivered a great performance again as he scored 85 runs on 61 balls. He smashed 3 sixes and 4 fours in his inning. With this score, he achieved the 25th half-century in his T20 International career.
Virat put in 74 runs for the second wicket along with Shikhar Dhawan. After having a good partnership with Dhawan, Virat Kohli also but 44 runs partnership with Hardik Pandya the 5th wicket.
Everyone was expecting Virat Kohli’s century. But On the first ball of the 19th over of the innings, he was caught by Andrew Tye on Daniel Symes's delivery.
The highlight of Australian Inning: -
Australian Captain came back in team after being ruled out of the second T20 match due to injury. But in this match Aaron Finch failed to reach even on single-digit score.
Indian finger spinner got his wicket. After playing mind-blowing inning in last match, Matthew Wade came out as an opener again and scored 80 runs. He slammed 2 sixes and 7 fours.
Steve Smith was out of rhythm and had trouble playing big shots from the beginning of the inning. but Wade continued playing his aggressive shots. Team Australia managed to score 51 runs in the power play and lost only one wicket. Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell scored 54 runs with 3 sixes and 3 fours in 36 balls.
For the third wicket, they both put 90 runs partnership on the scoreboard. Washington Sundar grabbed 2 wickets after giving 34 runs. Young star Pacers T Natarajan Indian bowling lineup and Shardul Thakur seized 1-1 wicket.
